WHO WE ARE
Brass for children is A Music Based CBO established on the edges of Bwindi Forest in Kanungu, Western Uganda.
Our mission is to help children and youths through love and joy of music in Butogota
Currently, we have over 50 beneficiaries, But 125 kids total served since 2020. We are dedicated on Empowering children and Youths with music skills to develop their God's Given gifts and talents for brighter Futures.

MUSIC BRINGS JOY !
Music creates safe spaces for young girls and boys to learn, perform and work as equals. Music helps children to champion the differences between them and leave no one behind, Music prepares young people to take on the next challenge in life!
Music brings positive change, Hope and aspirations to the children and Youths.
Music has the power to do all kinds of things. The power to engage, inspire, heal, educate, transform and save lives.

HOW WE WORK
SCHOOL DAYS!
Children learn music every evening starting at 4:30PM upto 5:30PM Monday to Friday, Saturday & Sunday we start at 2:30PM until 5:30pm.
HOLIDAYS!
Our children learn music every day from 1:30PM to 6:00PM.
Currently we're working with over 50 Children & youths. We offer music lessons, workshops and other skills to transform lives.

GIVE INSTRUMENTS
"LOVE FOR MUSIC "
Brass for children has placed several wind instruments into the hands of young people, but we are in need of more donated instruments!
Our music programs have reached over 50 beneficiaries.
We Receive and repair the instrument you no longer use. The instrument is given new life by a music-loving young person who needs it.
OUR PROGRAMMES
BFC FEEDINGBFC feeding program, provide A hot meals to children and youth while they are in music lessons. The primary goal of these program is to alleviate hunger, improve concentration, and help children learn music.
Feeding our children and Employment opportunities for our alumni youth as music teachers, it inspires hope to boys and girls of the community.
MUSIC EDUCATION
MUSIC has helped our children and youths to keep focused other than being idle.
children and youth to learn musical instruments to build their talents.Children and youth earns scholarships to stay in schools.In our band youths earn a little money that enables them to meet their basic needs, And We assume that by the age of 25years someone is ready to start his or her own life with the education and music Skills attained a BFC.
SCHOLASTIC MATERIALS
Your donation will enable all bfc children who cannot afford acquire books, pens and other scholastic materials, this means that children will not miss classes any more, they will perform better as they will not have to miss lessons at school. This will help reduce on the high school drop outs caused by lack of scholastic materials.
Below are some of the scholastic materials needed;
Exercise books,Text books,Pens and pencils,Mathematical sets,Box files,Reams,School bagsand Uniform Materials!
SANITARY TOWELS
SET HER FREE!
This project aims to provide free sanitary towels to girls especially those at BFC. The goal is to increase access to sanitary towels and improve enrollment and retention of girls in our music program.More time spent in a safe,structured and protected space means less time engaging in dangerous situations such as prostitutions and crimes.

OFFICIAL PARTNER; If the school/musicians donates wind instruments or undertakes to organize at least one concert a year, will be placed on our website as official partner.
GORILLA KINGS HOME
GORILLA HOMES will be a platform for children and youth to grow musically. With our permanent Home, we shall have our Guest house ,offices, instruments store and Spaces for Music activities.
A HOME STAY WILL BE SUITABLE FOR BOTH VOLUNTEERS ,BRASS SUMMER CAMPS , TOURISTS AND MUSIC ACTIVITIES.
ONE BLOCK WITH (4) GUEST ROOMS, (1) MUSIC ROOM & (1)OFFICE ROOM.
GORILLA HOMES WILL BE IN A HOME SETTING WITH SHARED FACILITIES LIKE;
BATHROOMS, KITCHEN, LIVINGROOM AND COMPOUND.

B F C TOURS
UGANDA MUSIC TOUR!
Musicians of all ages come together to have fun in musical activities with CULTURE EXCHANGES and LIFE SKILLS. Music Teachers and students from abroad share their musical skills with the Children at BFC through short and long term volunteer opportunities, gaining valuable teaching and leadership experiences.
BFC TRANSPORT
We're looking for 14 Seater Van for the organization.
BFC is ready to take care of the vehicle. Having this Van will save us funds towards transport costs in travels we make for performances for Brass/Marching Band, BFC teams, picking up &dropping off our music volunteers to airport and transporting children to summer camps.

I was raised in humble background where food and education was struggle, due to lack of school fees and basic needs, I run away from Home to the city, Where I got a privilege to work in musical instrument repair workshop, In that process I got a chance to learn music! Music changed my life, I'm now giving back to my community through my music organization of both young girls and boys , So that they get a chance to learn music and give them skills in life!
